Kamel Abdelouahab, PhD R&D Engineer, Sma-RTy “Privacy-Aware Health Monitoring with Edge AI” AI is being vastly adopted in the healthcare segment thanks to its performance and reliability. In a typical setup, AI for healthcare is implemented in a centralized approach where the sensors capture data and stream it to a remote processing node that extracts the semantics through AI inference. In this session, startup Sma-RTy will talk about an alternate model, known as edge AI, that shifts the data processing to tackle privacy and low latency concerns. They’ll also reveal how they leverage NVIDIA technologies to exploit the full potential of edge AI for the service of healthcare and hospital patients.
